Если честно - очень сомневаюсь. Скорцезе скорее отложит проект, пока Лео не освободится. Долгое время он значился в его фильмографии. Лео как раз Рузвельта и должен был сыграть, фильм о его молодых годах и становлении. И если Лео в этой роли в общем-то как родной, то Джоша я просто не представляю. Хотя, честно скажу, хочу ошибаться в своих догадках.

Я об этом читала но не совсем понимаю, когда состоится его перерыв, у него в производстве и подготовке к съемкам проектов пять, если не больше.

Впрочем, Людмила сегодня подкинула интересную мысль - а что если Джош сыграет не ту роль, которая Лео предназначалась? Ну хотя бы какую-нить второстепенную, но все-таки ведь Скорцезе... Подождем известий.

Ну Лео там вроде как не будет. Из его фильмографии проект вычеркнули. Но, конечно, рада буду Джошку увидеть в любой роли у Скорцезе.

About The Author
Matthew J. Fougerousse has been writing since the 4th grade. In the 6th grade he won the Illinois Young Authors Contest. In high school, he began acting in the school plays and musicals. His senior year, he wrote and directed the half-time show at the Homecoming Football game. Once in College, he wrote several more short stories and plays, but did not get serious about writing until he moved to Indianapolis Indiana in 1999. His first novel, Can You Do Me A Favor? was published in 2004. It was a raunchy and dark comedy that some of his family members did not care for, although many others loved it. Discouraged with the problems and feedback from his first book, Matthew almost gave up on writing, but his girlfriend Sarah encouraged him to make a comeback, which he did with Dark Star Hollow; a chilling tale of horror inspired by Matthew's first trip to Dale Hollow Lake in Tennessee. Matthew and Sarah married on May 6, 2006. It was the happiest day of their lives. They currently live near Beech Grove. Matthew is a Deputy Sheriff who works for a Security department at an Indianapolis hospital, where he has been for seven years. His wife Sarah, is a massage therapist and waitress. They have two cats; Scratchy and Stormy. Even before Dark Star Hollow was published, Matthew realized that his life-long dream of his work becoming a screenplay had already started. With the help of his writing partner Dan Griffin, he has already gathered interest from several actors, and producers whom are currently working to get Dark Star Hollow onto the big screen. Matthew and Sarah have no children as of yet, but they are very close with their families, and love their little cousins, and first nephew Nathan. Zac Efron contro Robert Pattinson: chi sarà il vero numero uno?

In un angolo: Zac Efron. In un altro angolo: Robert Pattinson. Il motivo per cui sono entrambi con le spalle al muro? I loro rispettivi status di idolo delle ragazzine.

Pattinson ha cercato di uscire dagli schemi a lui imposti con Remember Me. Efron ci sta provando adesso con Charlie St. Cloud.

Chi sarà il primo ad affermarsi come attore veramente serio? Ipotizziamo qualche pronostico (in ordine alfabetico, per essere più diplomatici):

Vince Efron! "Se gioca bene le sue carte, potrebbe facilmente essere il nuovo Leonardo DiCaprio", dice la nostra esperta Ashley Dos Santos.

Insomma, Pattinson è una garanzia, almeno abbastanza da ottenere una parte al fianco di Reese Witherspoon nel suo nuovo film.

Mendoza to make movie in Mindanao

CIRTICALLY-acclaimed director Brillante Mendoza is set to make a movie in Mindanao with international productions and star.

Mendoza said he will shoot a film co-produced by Germany and France with a working title Captured. “I’m doing a film with Isabelle Huppert. It’s about the hostage taking [situation] in Mindanao and Isabelle would be one of the victims. I’ll probably be shooting in Mindanao but not the entire film,” the award-winning director told pep.ph.

According to imdb.com, Huppert is one of the most respected actresses in France, with 41 best actress wins in various award-winning bodies in Europe including the influential Cйsar Awards, the French equivalent of the Oscars, in which she holds the record as the most nominated actress (one win, 12 nominations).

The French actress won the Best Actress trophy in the Cannes Film Festival twice.

She was the jury president at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival in 2009, the year when Brillante won the Best Director plum for Kinatay. Isabelle was impressed by the acting of Coco Martin in Kinatay, which is why she readily agreed to be part of Captured.

“The kidnappers in the movie will be Coco Martin, Ronnie Lazaro, Jhong Hilario, Ketchup Eusebio, and Ping Medina. May pagka-action ito, and I will start shooting next year,” said Direk Brillante. IMDB.com reported that Huppert will play a French missionary, one of the dozen foreigner, who will be kidnapped by a terrorist group in the Philippines.

Didier Costet’s Swift Productions will produce. The company produced Mendoza’s last three films. Arte France, one of the big film companies in France, co-produces.

Budget is around $3.9 million and filming starts in January 2011. Three years ago, Hollywood actor Josh Hartnett shot part of his film, I Come With The Rain, in Compostela Valley and Davao City in Mindanao. (Mindanao Times - Christopher T. Fabian)

Stuart Beattie Adapting ‘Without Remorse’
Successful screenwriter and now director Stuart Beattie has written an adaptation of Tom Clancy’s “Without Remorse” and is keen to make the project his next shot at directing.

First (chronologically) in Clancy’s “Ryanverse” series, the thriller spans four separate story arcs during the Vietnam Warm but primarily fills in backstory details on John Clark, a Navy SEAL who takes on a drug smuggling ring in Baltimore.

Paramount Pictures purchased the screen rights shortly after the novel was published in 1993.  After several false starts, the studio is trying again with Beattie, who told MovieHole transforming the 700-page book into a script “the hardest adaptation I’ve ever done.”  He sees Josh Hartnett as a possible Clark or an actor in their twenties.

The studio recently hired “Lost” director Jack Bender to re-introduce Clancy’s main hero, Jack Ryan (played by Chris Pine), in a terrorist thriller not based on a Clancy original.  The film, titled Moscow, is planning to start shooting by the end of the year for a November 2011 release.  Would the studio push forward with two “Ryanverse” stories, even if Jack Ryan isn’t in “Remorse?”  I don’t see why not, but it means an even longer wait for a movie version of my personal favorite Clancy novel, “Rainbow Six.”

The Australian screenwriter is in his home country this month, promoting the September 2 release of his directorial debut Tomorrow, When the War Began, a sort of Red Dawn story about a group of teenagers who take up arms when their homes are invaded.

Beattie’s more recognizable credits include the original story and characters for the Pirates of the Carribean trilogy, Tom Cruise’s taxi passenger thriller Collateral, and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.  He also wrote the script to two now defunct video game adaptations: Gears of War and Halo.

Al Next 2 di Tanina Vanacore con la prelibata cucina di  Carmela Attanasio e Renzo D'Avanzo ha gustato gnocchi di ricotta e una ricciola scottata in agrodolce, ha fatto il bis e ha preso un dolce di crema buciata poi frutta e gelato in compagnia della bellissima fidanzata "Questo è il posto che cercavo" ha detto.

Harnett è passato con la fidanzata anche a "Lo Scrigno" di Brunella in Via dei Mulini, luogo privilegiato della Moda. "Non lo ho riconosciuto subito - dice Marianna -, ma si vedeva che era una persona distinta, semplice e gentile. E' stato molto tempo affascinato dai prodotti del nostro negozio e ha comprato una camicia, mentre per le scarpe, che comunque voleva comprare,  purtroppo non c'era la sua misura, il 44"

We know the Toronto International Film Festival is about the films. But it’s certainly also about the STARS and their DIRECTORS that descend upon Toronto each year. Don Hill's is officially back.

Nur Khan and Paul Sevigny expanded their footprint on downtown New York nightlife Thursday night with the official opening of the SoHo rock club, which featured a performance by the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

Celebrities including Josh Harnett, Jeremy Piven and Chloe Sevigny came out alongside New York notables including model Lauren Remington Platt, it-girl DJs Cassie Coane and Harley Viera Newton, and MTV star Kelly Cutrone came out for DeLeón tequila and the latest installment of the Nur Khan Sessions.

Following secret performances by Iggy Pop and Courtney Love, the red-hot Don Hill's hosted the Yeah Yeah Yeahs for the Dazed and Confused after party last night. Owner Nur Khan held court once again as familiar faces such as Terry Richardson, Charlotte Ronson, Juliette Lewis and Josh Hartnett — a fixture at Paul Sevigny's Beatrice Inn — watched Karen O unleash her own special brand of crazy onstage. When The Observer arrived, we were told that the club was at capacity, and for the first time in the history of nightlife the bouncers were not lying: the place was impenetrable all the way through, nearly double the size of any crowd we've seen at the place yet. Word has gotten around.

New York City night-life players outdid themselves this past week, premiering new hot spots and giving night owls plenty of new ways to trade in their time, money and brain cells. Call us optimistic, but these locales just might herald the official return of a serious good time, after months of lackluster night life brought on by the recession and, well, 311. Now that Fashion Week is over, these spots are open to the public. We sussed out the scene. Read on!

DON HILL’S (511 Greenwich St.; 212-219-2850)

SCENE: Wow! The Beatrice Inn meets CBGB in this instant game-changer. Nur Khan and Paul Sevigny’s perfect storm of rock star connections and slumming supermodels — along with a liquor sponsorship bringing in live bands — is an excellent fit for this freshly reopened rock club.

Disco lights cast a purple haze over the fashionable crowd at Lavo, the epitome of a New York nightclub.

LOOK: The 300 person-capacity room features art-porn playing on TVs over the bar and spray-painted black walls. Just as Nirvana brought a screeching halt to hair metal, this place just brought down a sledgehammer on the bottle service and B-list star nightclub era (well, downtown, at least).

MUSIC: When bands like Iggy Pop, Hole and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs play live, the room is all about rock ’n’ roll.

CLIENTELE: This is old-school Downtown NYC with a capital D. Fashion Week guests included Perry Farrell, Josh Hartnett and John Varvatos. Opens to the public Friday; ease of admission will fluctuate day to day.

BOOZE: A bottle of Jack Daniel’s costs $200, a beer is $7 and the signature cocktail, the DeLeón mojito, is $12.

PROS: Fast and out of control, all eyes are on this champion of the fall hot-spot race.

TZIGAN (55 Gansevoort St.; 212-924-5559)

SCENE: This subterranean Meatpacking District lounge space has been many things. Successful isn’t one of them. No matter what you build in this area, you’ll get the same moneyed financial workers, “Sex and the City” wannabes and big-spending weekenders. But if you’re new to this ’hood, as Tzigan is, you’ll get the top tier of that crowd, which would be the A-list in any other town. Question: Can they keep it?

LOOK: Gold. Lots of gold. Sofas? Lamps? Lighting? Gold. Gold. Gold. And on the other wall? Silver. Lots and lots of silver. Just the kind of subtlety you’d expect from a scene and be seen that once hosted the crystal-heavy club Bijoux.

MUSIC: It changes a bit nightly, clearly driven toward dance music with a European flavor.

CROWD: Thanks to Fashion Week parties for G-Star and Trina Turk, the VIPs have made the rounds.
