Lee Byung-hun Meets Kimura Takuya

Two top stars from Korea and Japan have once again displayed their respective talents in the same movie. Lee Byung-hun and Kimura Takuya are appearing together for the second time--after their 2007 Japanese film “Hero”--in “I Come With The Rain.”

Directed by Vietnamese-French director Anh Hung Tran, whose works include “The Scent of Green Papaya” and “Cyclo,” the film is a multinational project starring Josh Hartnett and Elias Koteas in addition to Lee and Kimura.

The thriller centers around ex-Los Angeles cop Kline (Josh Hartnett) who travels to Hong Kong in search of the missing son (Kimura Takuya) of a Chinese billionaire. Lee plays a role of a mafia boss in Hong Kong.

With trailers released on April 18, it is scheduled to hit theaters in Japan on June 6. A large-scale premiere will be held in the island country, which all the stars will attend.

Ну наконец)))!!!

осталось 146 дней     но  премьера в Японии 6 июня,  мы раньше узнаем отзывы о фильме 

lucky you guys who already know it will be released in russia.
we guys wonder if it will get a US/UK or European release at all   

  а что нам стоит выучить японский??? соберемся все на недельки две, разделим между собой весь японский язык, каждый выучит свой "участок" , будем отгадывать коллективно!!! английский же освоили?! или другой вариант - читать по губам, у меня иногда очень хорошо выходит...   

ха, думаю те же чтои я!!!!

Lee Byunghun’s non-stop international promos

Top star Lee Byung Hun will be starting his overseas promotional movie events from end of May till August. His first international event of the year will kickstart with ‘I Come With The Rain’ which will be released on June 6 in Tokyo, Japan with various publicity and promotions.

The global director & cast of ICWTR including Josh Hartnett, Takuya Kimura, Shawn Yue and Lee Byung Hun will all participate in the promotional events planned.
          
From then on, starting in mid-July, Lee Byung Hun’s Hollywood debut ‘GI Joe: Rise of Cobra’ will start its promotional events and publicity stunts in prelude to the movie’s worldwide release on August 7 starting with the US as well as South Korea which will hold the same event on the said designated date.

This will prompt a series of promotional activities and visits for Rise of Cobra in South Korea, Japan and the United States. In the case of Japan, because of Lee’s high popularity in the country, a specific schedule had been set up to increase the significance of the events as his 2008 Korean Western ‘The Good, The Bad, The Weird’ will also open in the Japanese theaters starting August 29th. The box-office movie which was released last year in Korea had proved to be a huge hit with local moviegoers as well as fan tours coming in.

In the meantime, Lee Byung Hun will be busy filming the drama ‘IRIS’ in its domestic and foreign filming locations already pre-planned before the movies promotional events are scheduled to begin.

A close associate of Lee stated that “Korean stars’ promotional events in Japan will be designed accordingly to the high interest for the actor,” as this will help affirm other overseas activities of Korean pop stars in Japan to be concluded more significantly, he said.
