Hollywood heart-throb JOSH HARTNETT has embarked on a hot new romance - with QUINCY JONES' actress daughter RASHIDA.

The pair recently split from their longtime loves - Hartnett from high school sweetheart ELLEN FENSTER and Jones from DJfiance MARK RONSON.

And pals now say they've since embarked on a new romance with each other, after a mutual pal arranged a date.

A source says, "They've been dating for about four weeks. It's not some great romance, at least not yet. They're just having fun."

Jones is the ex-girlfriend of SPIDER-MAN star TOBEY MAGUIRE.
