Hartnett saves parents' marriage by keeping football scene a secret

As much as no one likes to think about it, moms are people too. And, as people, they get celebrity crushes like anyone else.

It's something Josh Hartnett was keenly aware of when, as a Denver sports reporter in Resurrecting the Champ, he shared a brief scene with "larger than life" NFL legend John Elway.

"My mom had a crush on him when I was a kid," Hartnett says with a smile. "I couldn't tell her I was going (to Denver) for many reasons. She would've flown out -- fallen all over him. I saved my parents' relationship."
