Josh Hartnett to play in The Prince of Cool
Driving Miss Daisy director Bruce Beresford is preparing to put two legendary musical figures on to the big screen - each in their own film. First, Josh Hartnett has been signed up to play trumpeter Chet Baker in The Prince of Cool.

HARTNETT TO PLAY BAKER
Actor JOSH HARTNETT is set to play tragic jazz trumpeter CHET BAKER in a WALK THE LINE style movie biopic.
The film will chronicle the life of Oklahoma-born Baker, real name CHESNEY HENRY BAKER JR, his rise to stardom after being discovered by saxophonist CHARLIE PARKER and his descent into heroin addiction
Baker's death in May 1988 was shrouded in speculation. He reportedly fell from an Amsterdam, Netherlands hotel window although the circumstances surrounding the event have never been confirmed.
